Principal designer Craig Rietze is registered as a qualified Designer with The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and holds the required BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) issued by the Ministry. 

C.A.R. Design Studio provides a number of services related
to residential design, for both new construction and additions/renovations, which include the following:

•  Creation of - or refining - client's design program
  (wish list) for the project
•  Conceptual design – interior and exterior
• Site measuring and preparation of existing plans/building elevations where required
• Design development with the client from rough sketch format to preparation of hard line design drawings,
  including review and selection of all exterior materials and colours
•  3-D renderings available as an additional service for large scale projects where desired by the client
•  Coordination with municipalities on zoning and permit issues including zoning approvals and building permit applications
•  Application and submission to the Committee of Adjustment to request approval of minor zoning variances - including representation at COA hearings
•  Preparation of working drawings (construction drawings) for project tendering, permit applications and construction
• Coordination of all sub-consultants - including structural/mechanical engineers, surveyors,
  interior designers and arborists - throughout the process where required
• Tendering of the project to selected general contractors or working directly with the client's pre-selected contractor
• Coordination with the general contractor through completion of construction
